Kwara APC commends EFCC, shoves off support for Gov AbdulRazaq

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been commended for its deligence in the recovery of looted funds from the past administration.

This commendation was made by the All Progressives Congress(APC) in kwara state against the backdrop of various recoveries to the state government.

In a statement issued by the party, it stated that the previous administrations in the past 16 years had embarked on grandiose and money guzzling projects that took priority over education, health and other pressing needs of the people.

” It’s heart warming that EFCC has become a dread to the criminal elements in the state and various ongoing investigations would further unravel the financial quagmire embarked upon by the previous administrations.

”  We want to also commend the EFCC for its surveillance on the state’s account before the handover which prevented a last minute looting of the state’s account by the last administration,” the statement added.

The party further stated that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is structurally and spiritually prepared to improve the management of the public finances of the state which hitherto had been characterized by wastage.

It urges kwarans to sustain their faith in the change they voted resolutely for, stressing that the various achievements  in last six months are evidences that Governor AbdulRazaq is on the right track.

The next final year according to the statement is expected to change the deep seated developmental problems of the state which provoked the citizens engagement parley  on the next budget held during the week between the Governor and various stakeholders in the state.

Our victory a befitting tribute to ex-Gov Lawal — Kwara APC

“The sheer size of attendance at the memorial prayers and the public sentiments about him aptly confirmed that history has finally vindicated him and his vision for Kwara. Our victory confirmed that he did not struggle in vain. His philosophy of a Kwara where everyone is an equal stakeholder has finally come to fruition.”

Her reign as Iyaloja General of Kwara State also recorded tremendous growth and development. We pray God Almighty to grant her Aljannah Firdaus,” AbdulRazaq said in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye.
