The APC National Youth Leader, Hon. Dayo Israel has sent his congratulatory message to the newly elected National Assembly Leadership, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio as the Senate President and Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Tajudeen Abass as the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives of 10th National Assembly.
In a congratulatory message convey by his senior special assistant on public affairs, Mr. Tunde Rufai and signed by Hon. Dayo Israel.
“Today is one of the most beautiful day in Nigeria democracy as we elect new leadership of the 10th assembly to pilot the affairs of this great nation to a state of eldorado.
“The leadership of the parliament requires people with sound knowledge, experienced and well equipped Nigerians who has the political capacity to make people’s oriented policies, motions and bills with requisite leadership that will have positive impacts on the downtroddens.
“With Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio as the Senate President and Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass as the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives of the 10th Assembly, I am convinced that Nigerian youths will experience a robust legislative cohesiveness to compliment President Bola Ahmed Tinubu mantra of *Renewed Hope.*
“I implore the 10th National Assembly to hit the ground running with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in delivering the campaign promises made to Nigerians.
“As the National Youth Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC and leader of Progressives youths in the country, I plead with the newly inaugurated 10th assembly members to consider the youths in their legislatives appointment with 75 percent legislative aides.
“The hopes of average Nigerian youths have been dampen, marginalised and neglected over the years which has resulted in their frustration on the government.
“The student loan bill sponsored by Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and signed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a testament to the huge admiration of the President to give average Nigerians quality education.
“The inclusion and appointment of 75 percent of youths as legislative aides and critical appointments will give the youths a sense of humor, renewed their hopes in the government and enable them to learn the ropes of leadership faster.
“History will remember the leadership of 10th assembly for good if the youths are appointed in critical appointments for a brighter future of the next generations to come.
“As you take the mantle of leadership of the 10th National Assembly, I pray God gives you the requisitive wisdom, strength, capacity and capability to pilot the affairs of Nigeria parliament.”
